Hey there!

I'm Samantha, and I'm thrilled you stopped by. I'm a full-time equine photographer based in northern Virginia, and I photograph shows and horse trials in MD, VA, and KY.

I wandered through my teenage years taking photos of flowers, our dogs, sunsets, trees, and of course, horses, with a Polaroid camera and several digital cameras. My wonderful, goofy TB gelding, Cooper, is my heart horse, and we event at the Novice level.

While I love a pretty jump photo, knees to nose & ears pricked, the candid moments tell the story of your journey. Passing the finish flags with your arm in the air, confidently patting your horse's neck as you finish show jumping, handing gear to your dad as you cool off from cross country, and having a family member video dressage. These moments make the show days worth it and remind you why you do it.

Photographs - a moment in time, a second stilled - allow you to cherish a memory for years. I would love to capture that moment for you.
